This project aims to develop advanced biogas production and upgrading technologies using palm oil mill effluent (POME) and empty fruit bunch (EFB), byproducts of the Malaysian palm oil industry. The ultimate goal is to establish a sustainable and circular energy system through Japan–Malaysia collaboration.
